Itinerary
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, meet & greet by your driver guide, and then transfer to accommodation.
Dinner and Overnight at Jet Villas Guest House (Bed & Breakfast).
After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi, stopping here and there as you enjoy the art of the creator as you drive through hills and valleys, terraces, forests, among others. The Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to half of the world’s Mountain Gorilla populations. This vast reserve offers arguably the most productive montane forest birding in Africa and supports 23 of Uganda's 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species.
Once part of a much larger forest that included the Virunga Volcanoes in neighboring Rwanda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is now an ecological island within a sea of human cultivation and is of immense conservation importance.
Dinner and overnight at Ride 4 A Woman(Full board).
After an early breakfast, start gorilla tracking at 8:00 a.m. in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. While this is a very challenging walk, it is surely one of the highlights of a trip to Uganda. Each group is limited to eight participants at a time. We recommend you wear good walking boots/shoes and carry good rain gear and enough drinking water. Trekking can be tough and challenging so we trust you are in reasonably fit condition. You will carry a picnic lunch with you into the forest and you will be thrilled to have seen these rare primates (no guarantee). The return journey could be easier!
Dinner and Overnight at Ride 4 A Woman (Full board)
Today we head back towards Entebbe, stopping over at Lake Mburo National Park, one of the small National Parks in Uganda, but very special in its way. Lake Mburo National Park is home to 320 bird species and 68 mammal species with a lake where lots of waders and aquatic mammals inhabit.
On arrival, you will head out for an evening game drive before retiring for the day.
Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock (Full Board).
After breakfast, drive to Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight.
